I remember Tracy well from last year, always asking question after question when I was about to leave class. Some tutors I suppose would have found this annoying, but I found her constant questions inspirational. Her enthusiasm for Anatomy and Physiology was infectious. What a wonderful spirit she had!.
She always found ways to come out with top marks in the class. She never once let her personal life effect her studies. It was a privilege to be around her. I don’t think Tracy new this and to this day I don’t think she realizes how dynamic she was.
So I share with you these simple techniques she shared with me in this audio recording of how she made learning fun:
She used Visual Aids to help her study
Question and answer cards were used for Anatomy and Physiology
Labelling items on drawing help her visually
She made up games and played them with her children
Constantly focused kept her driving forward
And everywhere she went her books followed
To the point of becoming obsessive with learning this subject even when on holiday
Well was it worth it, yes cause she gained a distinction in Reflexology

I have had many total body massages before which have always been enjoyable and relaxing. I was interested to see how much benefit the whole body could feel through reflexology. I had been suffering with sore neck for sometime which I had been meaning to go for treat for. TC was aware of this problem and worked on this area through the related area on my foot. Initially after the treatment I didn’t notice any relief but the following morning the pain was significantly better. Although I still had some discomfort around the shoulder blade area in my back the spot had been focused on in the session is now fine. It was quite surprising! I also found the treatment to be extremely relaxing and energizing. I felt that I entered a state of meditation, somewhere between awake and asleep, something that I had not experienced with conventional massage. After the session I felt energized and alert. It was a great experience and look forward to my next session with TLC!’ Melanie |

I found revision better if I did it in small amounts, about an hour at a time. I would read, then read it again and then try to write in my own words what I’d read. Sometimes it stayed in!
For muscles, always helpful to draw the muscle, the colouring a & p books are worth getting. Good luck with all of it, stick to it and don’t make excuses not to do it!
